What to do at Lake Haidersee

Lake Haidersee, just a few steps from the Hotel Alpenrose, is not a typical swimming lake, but rather a place for those seeking peace in an idyllic landscape – and a true angler's paradise!  In its waters, which reach a maximum depth of 15 m, you can fish for whitefish, zander, trout, perch and other fish species from April to October. The fishing permit is available on-site, while you can also purchase the additional fishing card online. Rent a boat, cast your line, and let the gentle waves rock you. Before or after this experience, you can enjoy the beautiful 4.5 km lake loop to admire the picturesque wooden piers and numerous native bird species. During the height of summer, you can also enjoy the Haidersee for swimming and refresh yourself in its clear, cool waters!
