My great-grandfather Karl bought Hotel Alpenrose after WWII, a building that had previously housed the headquarters of the Guardia di Finanza (financial police). With a small restaurant, including a saddlery, a future as a restaurant soon emerged for the structure. After the death of my great-grandfather, in 1961 the Hotel Alpenrose passed to my grandfather Franz who, with grandmother Ursula and later also with the help of my aunt, continued the business, regularly expanding it.
Finally, in 2000, the management passed to my parents Hans Peter and Elisabeth, and in 2018, I started helping out at the reception desk, in the restaurant and in taking care of guests. Since 2022, I have been managing the Hotel Alpenrose, while my parents continue to give me a lot of support with their contribution.
